Research Practice Architecture
When I joined Athlon, research was two people embedded in design teams. Over the next 13 months, I grew that into an 11-person standalone practice. Alongside the hiring, we needed a way to decide what work came in, help new researchers get up to speed, review each other's work, and eventually sell research without attaching it to a design engagement.
